FBI Investigating Pa. Rep. Curt Weldon but not Harry Reid?

Funny how this works eh?

WASHINGTON — The FBI is investigating whether Rep. Curt Weldon, R-Pa., used his influence to secure lobbying and consulting contracts for his daughter, two people familiar with the inquiry said Saturday.
The inquiry focuses on lobbying contracts worth $1 million that Weldon's daughter, Karen Weldon, obtained from foreign clients and whether they were assisted by the congressman, they said. They spoke on condition of anonymity because of the confidentiality of the criminal investigation,2933,220900,00.html

They spoke on condition of anonymity? Liberal speak for sticking it to the GOP during an election cycle.

So how about Harry the body Reid and his magical 1 million dollar profit on property he had sold 3 years earlier?

Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid is awaiting word from the Senate ethics committee on whether he failed to properly account for a business deal that allowed him to collect a $1.1 million windfall on land he hadn't personally owned for three years.

I am sure it will be explained away as a mistake on the part of a staffer who has since been fired. No responsibility of Mr. Reid whatsoever. Honest mistake really. The American people want to focus on what matters like BushHaliburtonCheneyFoley and their failed policies. Not on Harry Reid's honest mistake or Harry Reid dealing with Mobsters and selling his influence.

Harry must have a big freezer to hide all that cash. I wonder if he paid taxes on the gain?
